With other lists, I've been able to be more objective
about my lists and really argue my point for why I think those particular toys
stood out. This list is going to be more subjective because lubes are more
difficult to distinguish and yet are also such a personal taste. Still,
hopefully this list will give you an idea of some lubes to try or to keep an
eye out for:
5.
All-Natural Swiss Navy Water Based Lubricant 4 fl oz $19.99
4. Swiss Navy 2in1 “His&Hers”
Stimulating Gel 2x25 ml $24.99
3. Swiss Navy 2in1 “Just for Her” Arousal Gel 2x25 ml $24.99
2. Moist Personal Lubricant 4 fl oz $15.99
1. Jo H2O Waterbased Lube 4.5 fl oz $16.95
I tried to keep the sizing fairly consistent for easy comparison, but it’s worth noting that we often have smaller sizes available as well. Prices are accurate as of time of publication and do not include taxes.
Read on to find out why these are my slick picks!

5. All-Natural Swiss Navy Water Based Lubricant 4 fl
oz $19.99
If you have any sensitivities, this is the lube for
you. It is glycerin free, paraben free, and has a grand total of six ingredients.
Personally, I find it a bit thin and watery, but a lot of others like its silky
feel. Swiss Navy is a really reliable brand, which is why it takes up three
spots on my top five list!
4. Swiss Navy 2in1 “His&Hers”
Stimulating Gel 2x25 ml $24.99
If you’ve been looking to try out
heating and cooling lubricants, this convenient duo pack has a bit of both. I
have not yet been able to figure out what distinguishes heaing gels from
cooling gels as they seem to all rely on mint, but the ingredients do differ
slightly and they’re all in this hand 2in1 dispenser so that you don’t have to
juggle (or afford) two bottles. Be sure to use sparingly at first as each user will
have a different sensitivity level to the active ingredients.
3. Swiss Navy 2in1 “Just for Her” Arousal Gel 2x25 ml $24.99
Last Swiss Navy product, I
promise! This 2in1 gel dispenser has all the perks of the previous item – one package,
two products, great for an experiment – but contains a different product… which
is still based on mint. Swiss Navy’s arousal gel is meant to increase the
sensitivity of the clitoris in order increase pleasure derived from clitoral
stimulation. It can, as I understand, be used just as well on the g-spot. The
two products vary from mild to wild so you can cater to your activites any
given day or mix the two in order to achieve the level of sensitivity you
desire.
2. Moist Personal Lubricant 4 fl oz $15.99
This is a slightly thick
waterbased lube with no scent and no flavor. It contains lots of natural
ingredients: aloe vera, nettle, rosemary, mint, ginseng, and citric acid. I’m
not sure what all of these ingredients are intended for, but here are the ones
I do know a bit about:
·
Aloe vera is
an anti-microbial, anti-irritant, and moisturizer.
·
Rosemary is an
anti-microbial.
·
Citric acid
has a mild spermicidal effect but should NOT be used alone as an safe sex
measure.
Notably, the Moist Anal Lube (4
fl oz, $17.95) has the same ingredients but is slightly thicker and safe for
anal or vaginal use. If you like a thick lube, this may better suit your taste.
1. Jo H2O Waterbased Lube 4.5 fl oz $16.95
The bottle advertises a “silicone
feel” and that’s the best way to describe this lube. Jo H2O is thick, lasts a
while, free of taste and scent, all while still being waterbased. Also comes in
warming and flavoured varieties.
